Since I was looking for something quick and steamy, I enjoyed this short read. It was forward and I liked the characters just fine. The ending offered possibilities, it could be a prequel to an erotic romance novel.
Based on Kate and Mike's short conversation, they had chemistry. Though the endgame is really about great sex and the excitement of doing it with someone attractive, I loved how the author introduced the characters. The conciseness of the story coupled with short but highly arousing scenes are just some of the reasons why I loved this. The quality more than made up for the quantity.
Ms Anna Bayes's suggestive title is a come on. She knows how to KISS (keep it short & steamy).
Short stories are like a little snack for me. I can read the entire thing from beginning to end in one sitting and not feel guilty that I should have been doing laundry or cleaning the house. Snug Fit was just the perfect little treat.
Often times the most difficult thing about short stories for me is trying to find the balance between dialogue and action. Some make the mistake of focusing solely on the sex while leaving out the dialogue that is so important to creating a connection with the characters.
In Snug Fit the author did a great job capturing the characters personalities in only 12 short pages. The fun and flirtatious banter between Kate and Mike had me smiling and then with the addition of the hot sex, it made for a well rounded short story. I also loved the ending and hope we haven't seen the last of these two )
Writing a good story in fourteen pages isn’t always an easy task but I think Ms. Bayes did just that in this sexy read. It’s a fun tale of a woman who goes looking for one thing and then ends up with a pleasant surprise. The two main characters are likeable and draw you in as soon as they meet.
The dialogue moves this plot nicely and the build up to the sex is slow and well-paced. Another thing I enjoyed with this story, which is sometimes the case with shorter reads, is nothing seemed contrived. The meeting of these two people seemed believable and not just set up to the make the story work.
I liked the ending in that there was the possibility of a happy ending and more encounters for this two. I’ll definitely be checking out more books by this author.

Great,short, witty erotic read!
Everybody knows what that first date with someone feels like, not in clothing that you normally wear, at a restaurant out of your normal routine , just plain uncomfortable, but it's always nice when while you wait for your date to show to sit back, and have a drink . So ,for Kate getting to enjoy a relaxed witty conversation with Mike andhaving an instant attraction to this handsome man who has a sense of humor and your completely at ease with is a great relief, well until your date Shows up! Mike graciously leaves once John arrives , but not before he makes sure Kate has his number Does poor John know this is his first and last date with Kate?
Now for Kate with her date over the mental war over to call Mike wages, but not for long, this short story just getsplainoutright hot from here .
Now this is a short story so I am not giving away anymore, but if your looking for a quick hot read do not pass this one up!
I especially like that though the author gives you an ending she left an opening to re- visit these two, which I hope she does!
Anna Bayes really knows how to throw the spice! Loved the first person style of her writing and I can honestly say this book makes me want to throw on a snug fit dress and head out to a club!
I look forward to reading more of her books.

Mike and Kate get right to the heart of the matter. Perhaps, it is another part of the anatomy they go straight to! A chance meeting and a first date discarded by Kate lead to some hot action for Mike. The book is short, but satisfying. I could have read another 100 pages of this story. Actually, I read it twice in less than an hour. I hope I can find Kate in some on Bayes other works. If not,I will need to meet the new heroine in one of her other books.
I will recommend this book to anyone 18+. This book will leave you with a smile, and....
At this point in my life I'm not often surprised. I've seen too much and done even more, but to quote Forrest Gump, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you've going to get. 'Snug Fit' turned out to be a delicious morsel in the box of life and I'm delighted I bought and unwrapped it.
This is the story of a sassy lady named Katie who meets a hunk of goodness while waiting for her blind date to show up. The blind date is late and a handsome stranger stirs Katie's juices in his absence. What unfolds after this unexpected connection is scandalous and makes for a sexy read.
I greatly enjoyed this short story and wish I could meet a woman like Katie. Yep, I give this story two thumbs up and four stars.
