I am only on page 90 and completely hooked. I literally have to take notes because there is an overflowing river of concepts and connections presented that are triggering even more concepts and connections in my own mind that I want to explore. Reading this is a refreshing, philosophical experience. It's the kind of book you have to periodically put down in order to infiltrate the void and find the pieces of brain that were blown away. I plan to pass this on to my psychology and human services professors for its practical application as well, as it is a tangible way for students to understand clients with schizophrenia outside of the clinical, 2-dimensional way they are used to seeing. Instead they will have access to 4+ dimensions with this book.

Its about time that someone wrote a book like this... a non-clinical first hand account of schizophrenia.
I recommend this book to all who want to know more about this illness while not having the patience for some Psychotherapists ramblings on what schizophrenia might be like.

Brenden's book really opened my eyes as to what he is thinking and feeling having schizophrenia. This book is going to help so many families to understand what their loved ones may be going through. It will also help to stop some of the stigmatism a schizophrenic battles on top of their own personal health issues.
